STARTUP OF THE DAY

A new kind of urban transport is taking off in China — and it’s happening in the sky. Not just XPENG’s subsidiary, Aeridge, but also the Shanghai-based startup INFLYNC are developing electric air taxis.

🚀 Founded in 2020, INFLYNC has already secured over 1,000 preorders for its L600 eVTOL aircraft. The hybrid jet can fly 600 km, reach 360 km/h, and is quieter than a helicopter.

✈️ Its cabin is modular — adaptable as a business jet, rescue aircraft, or cargo version.

At the China International Import Expo 2025 in Shanghai, INFLYNC unveiled its full-scale prototype, aiming to start commercial flights by 2028 at prices comparable to high-speed rail.
