China's installed solar capacity reached 1,200 GW at the end of 2025. The corresponding totals were 640 GW for wind and 450 GW for hydropower, including pumped storage.
The figures show the capacity of the installed fleet, rather than electricity generated. NEA's published totals and IRENA's capacity statistics agree at the chart's rounding level of the nearest 10 GW.
